Black-Eyed Peas For Good Luck



We're not sure where or how the tradition began, but in many American homes, people eat black-eyed beans on New Year's for good luck. Youth Journalism International Senior Reporter Kiernan Majerus-Collins took a picture, above and below, of the beans.
Some of them will be gobbled up at Saturday's annual YJI Holiday Party!
